WEBSITE BUILDERS
Wix
Paid links. We earn a commission if you buy through links on this page. It never changes our ranking — see how we rank.
Pricing
We do not reprint prices. They change too often for that to be honest, and a number on our page with no date is worse than sending you to the source.
How we rated it
What it is
A website builder with hosting, templates, e-commerce, booking and marketing tools, plus AI-assisted site generation. Everything in one subscription.
Who it is for
Small businesses that need a site, a booking form and a shop, and have nobody to maintain any of it.
Where it is strongest
A local business site with bookings or a small shop. Having everything in one place is worth more here than any individual feature.
Where it falls short
You cannot take the site anywhere — leaving means rebuilding. Performance is mediocre and that affects search rankings. And the design flexibility runs out sooner than you expect.
Our verdict
Recommended for small businesses that value not thinking about it. For a content site, WordPress; for something that must look designed, Framer.
Editorial assessment. We earn a commission on some links; it does not change the ranking.
