Affiliate terms
Version 2026-09-13-concept
1. Joining
You apply with an account and the channel where you will promote us. We approve or decline by hand and do not have to give a reason. Approval is personal: you cannot pass your link or account on to someone else.
2. Commission
- You earn 50% of the net sale price of a purchase made through your link: the amount the buyer paid after any discount, excluding VAT and other taxes.
- A sale counts if the buyer clicked your link within 60 days before buying and did not click another affiliate’s link after yours (last click wins). Tracking relies on a cookie; purchases we cannot attribute do not earn commission.
- Commission is pending for 30 days after the purchase. It lapses if the sale is refunded or charged back in that time. A partial refund reduces it proportionally.
- If a sale is refunded or charged back after we have paid you, we may deduct that commission from future payouts.
- The rate that applies is the one in force on the day of the purchase. We may change the rate for future sales with 30 days’ notice.
3. Payouts
We pay available commission as soon as it is available, with no minimum, via the method you chose (PayPal, Wise or bank transfer). You are responsible for any tax on what you earn and for invoicing where your local rules require it. Transfer fees charged by your own provider are yours.
4. Disclosure — required on every post
Every piece of content that promotes The AI Academy must say clearly that it is an ad or a paid partnership, in a way viewers notice before they act: on screen or spoken in the first seconds of a video, and in the first line of a caption or email. Use the platform’s paid-partnership label where it exists — in addition, not instead. A disclosure only in your bio or a link-in-bio page is not enough.
This reflects our own practice, set out in our affiliate disclosure.
5. What you must not do
- Make income, earnings or results claims about The AI Academy, directly or by implication — including screenshots of revenue, “how much I made” figures, or suggesting that buying leads to a particular outcome.
- Pair our name or link with luxury lifestyle imagery (cars, watches, cash, villas) presented as what buying our products leads to.
- Use content you do not own or have a licence for. No reposting or re-editing other creators’ videos, clips or images, and no footage taken from films, ads or other accounts.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, including mass DMs, comment spam and bulk email.
- Buy through your own link, or arrange for friends, family or other accounts you control to do so.
- Pose as an independent customer, write fake reviews, or run accounts that hide that you are paid to promote us. Do not present yourself as The AI Academy or use our name or logo as your account name.
- Bid on our brand name in paid search ads, or use coupon or cashback sites, without written permission.
- Describe our products as financial, legal or tax advice, or promise anything our own pages do not.
6. If the rules are broken
We may withhold or cancel commission on sales connected to a breach, reclaim commission already paid for those sales, and suspend or end your participation. Where we can, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first — but for income claims, other people’s content or hidden advertising we may act straight away, because those put buyers and us at risk.
7. Our standards apply to you
You may only say about our products what we say ourselves. Our editorial policy sets out what we claim and what we refuse to claim; the same limits apply to anything you publish about us.
8. Ending and changes
Either side can end participation at any time. Commission on valid sales made before that date is still paid once it becomes available. We may update these terms; material changes are announced to approved affiliates before they apply.
Draft of 13 September 2026. Governed by Dutch law. This is not legal advice to you.
