Pricing

We do not reprint prices. They change too often for that to be honest, and a number on our page with no date is worse than sending you to the source.

What it is

Data visualisation and business intelligence with deep analytical capability and a long reputation among analysts.

Who it is for

Organisations with analysts whose job is finding things in data.

Where it is strongest

Exploratory analysis. For someone who knows what they are doing, it remains the most capable tool for interrogating data visually.

Where it falls short

Expensive per user, and viewers need licences too. Steep to learn properly. And most organisations buy it to make dashboards, which is the part it is least cost-effective at.

Our verdict

Recommended where you have analysts doing genuine exploration. For dashboards, Power BI or Metabase cost a fraction.
