Pricing
We do not reprint prices. They change too often for that to be honest, and a number on our page with no date is worse than sending you to the source.
How we rated it
What it is
Payment infrastructure: card payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds and payouts, driven by an API with a hosted checkout if you do not want to build one. It also handles tax calculation and the paperwork around it.
Who it is for
Anyone selling online who can either write code or use a tool that does. If you are selling a digital product and want to own the customer relationship, this is the default.
Where it is strongest
Subscriptions and anything where the billing has rules — trials, proration, usage, tax by country. Writing that yourself is months of work and gets audited.
Where it falls short
Not the cheapest per transaction, and the fees are noticeable on small amounts. Availability depends on your country. And accounts can be frozen for risk reasons with little warning, which is survivable only if you are not relying on today's balance.
Our verdict
Recommended, and what this site runs on. The alternative worth considering is a merchant of record like Digistore24 or Paddle, which handles tax and refunds for you at a higher cut.
