Pricing
We do not reprint prices. They change too often for that to be honest, and a number on our page with no date is worse than sending you to the source.
How we rated it
What it is
A workflow automation tool you can run on your own server. You connect services on a canvas — a form to a database to an email — and it executes on a trigger or a schedule. Unlike most alternatives it has a code node, so anything the visual blocks cannot do, you write.
Who it is for
Technically confident people and small teams automating real processes, especially where the data should not leave your own infrastructure.
Where it is strongest
Automations that are too specific for off-the-shelf blocks and too small for a proper application — the thing a person currently does by hand every Tuesday.
Where it falls short
Self-hosting means you maintain it, including when it breaks at an inconvenient time. The learning curve is real. And the code node runs in a sandbox that is missing pieces of normal JavaScript, which bites you in ways that are hard to debug.
Our verdict
The best choice when you want control and can carry the maintenance. If you want it to simply work and never think about it, Zapier costs more and asks less.
