What it is
Google's free dashboard tool: connects to Google products and many other sources, and builds shareable reports.
Who it is for
Anyone who needs to show numbers to someone else and is already in the Google ecosystem.
Where it is strongest
Client and management reporting on Google data. It is free, it connects natively to Ads and Analytics, and sharing is a link.
Where it falls short
Slow with large data sets, visibly so. Non-Google connectors often cost money through third parties. And complex transformations are awkward — it prefers data that arrives clean.
Our verdict
Recommended for Google-centric reporting, and the price is hard to argue with. For real business intelligence across many sources, Metabase or Power BI.
