How we rated it
What it is
Generates video of a presenter from a script: pick an avatar or create one from a recording of yourself, paste the text, and get a video of that person speaking it, in a range of languages.
Who it is for
Teams producing a steady stream of talking-head video — training, product updates, localised marketing — where filming each one is not realistic.
Where it is strongest
The same message in many languages, or video that needs updating often. Changing a sentence means re-rendering, not re-shooting.
Where it falls short
The avatars are close to convincing, which is its own problem: viewers who notice feel misled. Gestures do not match meaning. And it earns its place only with volume — for one video, filming yourself is faster and better.
Our verdict
Recommended for volume and localisation, with a condition: say that it is AI-generated. The trust you lose when someone works it out costs more than the filming you saved.
