Where it is strongest
Rescuing an image that is almost right but too small. The detail it invents is usually plausible enough for marketing use.
Where it falls short
It invents detail, which means faces and text come back subtly wrong — and on a product photo that is a misrepresentation, not an improvement. Credits disappear quickly at high settings. And it cannot recover what was never there.
Our verdict
Recommended for upscaling marketing imagery. Never use it on a product photo a customer will judge the product by; the detail is generated, not recovered.
