WEBSITE BUILDERS
Framer
Paid links. We earn a commission if you buy through links on this page. It never changes our ranking — see how we rank.
Pricing
We do not reprint prices. They change too often for that to be honest, and a number on our page with no date is worse than sending you to the source.
How we rated it
What it is
A website builder where you design on a canvas and publish the result, with hosting included. It handles responsive layouts, animation and a CMS, and has AI features for generating a first draft of a page.
Who it is for
Designers and founders who want a site that looks designed rather than templated, and who do not want to involve a developer to change a headline.
Where it is strongest
Marketing sites and landing pages where the look carries weight — a launch page, a portfolio, a product site that has to feel considered.
Where it falls short
You are renting the platform: moving a Framer site elsewhere means rebuilding it. Costs climb as you add pages and traffic. And for a content-heavy site, a CMS-first tool fits better than a canvas.
Our verdict
The best-looking output of the no-code builders, and quick once you know it. If your site is mostly articles rather than pages, look at a CMS instead.
Editorial assessment. We earn a commission on some links; it does not change the ranking.
