Where it is strongest
Growing a newsletter. The recommendation network genuinely brings subscribers, which is a harder problem than sending the email.
Where it falls short
Automation is thinner than Kit or ActiveCampaign. Migrating away is awkward once you depend on their growth features. And the ad marketplace only pays meaningfully at scale, so it is not the income it appears to be early on.
Our verdict
Recommended if the newsletter is the product. If email is a channel supporting something else, a general tool fits better.
