Pricing
We do not reprint prices. They change too often for that to be honest, and a number on our page with no date is worse than sending you to the source.
How we rated it
What it is
Work management for teams: tasks, projects, timelines and workload, with portfolios and goals for the people above the work.
Who it is for
Teams of more than a handful of people coordinating work that crosses departments.
Where it is strongest
Making work visible across a team. Once more than two people depend on a task being done, the shared view is worth the overhead of maintaining it.
Where it falls short
Heavy for small teams, who end up using a task list with extra steps. The features worth paying for sit in higher tiers. And it only works if everyone updates it — a half-maintained Asana is actively misleading.
Our verdict
Recommended for coordinating teams. For a small team shipping software, Linear is faster; for a solo operator it is far more than you need.
